The Remarried Empress : A Not-So-Great Webtoon Author: Sarah Bijoy The Remarried Empress, a webcomic, is about an empress, Navier, who was basically perfect: beautiful, intelligent, and amazing at running her kingdom alongside her perfect husband, whom she had been friends with since childhood, and had a great relationship with. Or so she thought. However, one day, when her husband brings home a mistress, everything changes. Her husband, Sovieshu, demands a divorce, and Navier obliges, but she also requests… a remarriage. Speaking for the Nerds

                  I love science fiction. The genre lends itself to a layered writing style where there are different aspects of the book that you can go back to and re-read, but appreciating the book’s story in new ways each time.  One of the finest series that does this is the Ender series by Orson Scott Card. The first book, Ender’s Game, focuses on the childhood of Ender Wiggin, who is sent to a military academy called Battle School which teaches genius children of the world how to defend the world from impending alien invasion. While the plot of this book is relatively straightforward, Card carefully weaves in ethical dilemmas and scientific concepts into the stories of the fascinating characters he creates. One of the book’s sequels, Ender’s Shadow, highlights a different character and leans into the political side of the story that extends after Ender’s time on Earth is done. Firekeeper's Daughter: A Good Mystery

👋Hi everyone! I recently read a mystery novel called Firekeeper's Daughter , written by Angeline Boulley, which was an interesting book, with a good mystery and surprising plot turns. Firekeeper's Daughter is told from the perspective of 18-year-old Daunis Fontanie, who "has never quite fit in, both in her hometown and on the nearby Ojibwe reservation". Her Ojibwe father is deceased, and her white mother is caring for her grandmother a lot, who has just had a stroke. Then, she meets a new guy on her brother's hockey team, Jamie, and her brother asks her to show him around town. For a while, she is feeling more comfortable with this "new normal".  Spoiler alert! Then, suddenly, Daunis witnesses her best friend Lily gets killed by her ex, who is a drug addict. She then realizes that Jamie is actually an undercover FBI agent, not a high school senior. She is forced into an investigation to find the drug Lily's ex created. She has to pose as Jamie'
